Dr. Mohamed MEDDI is Professor in Hydraulics, irrigation and hydrology in the National Higher School for Hydraulics (Algeria). He has worked on climate change and drought. He works on the assessment of climate change impacts on crop productivity using climate, water and crop yield models. He is also working on soil moisture for better irrigation management. He conducted researches on surface and groundwater modelling. For the last over 15 years has coordinated and/or participated in over 10 national and international research projects (PNR, CNEPRU, AUF ERANTMED, TASSILI, PRIMA and African Water Resource Mobility Network). He participated in several scientific committees of national and international conferences, and published several scientific papers and conference presentations.
